I only had the pleasure of playing bridge with Helen at the library a few times , but they were always challenging because she was really a very good player ! She will be missed . Also I really liked reading her letters to the editor! She was smart, articulate and I agreed with her politics.

I remember Helen fondly as my Girl Scout leader when I was in high school. I have also enjoyed reading her letters to the editor in the Bernardsville News in recent years. My condolences to her children and her entire family.

My condolences to family and friends of Helen Koenig. I have enjoyed the great privilege of calling Helen a friend over many years. Helen and Ed were regular worshipers at the Presbyterian Church in Basking Ridge. For years, I visited with them both at weekly coffee hour, but our more personal relationship began when I visited Helen's husband Ed as his Deacon when he was confined to home. At that time, Helen always served me tea and our friendship blossomed. After Ed passed, our friendship continued with conversations, tea parties, and rides to church when needed. As Helen aged, she continued to volunteeer whenever she could. There is so much I have admired about Helen. She was strong, opinionated, spunky, active, and just plain fun! I will miss her. Her friends at church will miss her. I send love and care to her family as they remember a life well lived. Karen
