Obituary of Grace E Gossel
After a long illness, Grace Gossel was received into the loving arms of god on Sunday, June 23rd. Born in Detroit Michigan, May 1939, to the late Helen and Peter Vigi, she spent her childhood adoring flowers and all living things. She will be best remembered as a long time resident of Bernardsville and proprietor of Addalia’s Flowers with her talent for floral arranging and her attentiveness to clients wishes and services. She is survived by her husband Peter of 55 years, brother Jon Vigi of Michigan, three nephews and their famlies. By her own beliefs, no formal services are planned. A prayer said in ones own religion, on Grace’s behalf, being appropriate. In lieu of flowers, if so moved, a donation to a charity in support of humanity would be Grace’s wishes. Grace loved the Eastern United States, the rich history of New Jersey, and in particular it”s small towns, farmlands and vistas of natural beauty. A Sunday afternoon trip via lessor known byways was always exciting. Over the years this same fancy extended to much of New England with longer journeys using less traveled routes. Friends and family will certainly miss her vivid descriptions of these forays.
