May God bless and his love surround you and your entire family to continue cope with the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort and support in the people that surround you and the wonderful memories you carry in your mind and in your heart. May the words of Matthew 5:4 “ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I met Frank in the early 60's. soon after my family moved to Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. We were both working at the Academy of St Waldbaums Supermarket on Ocean avenue. We used to wrestle around quite a lot in the store and eventually we became pretty close friends. We used to go out a lot of times on the weekends to bars, dances and other places in the pursuit of young ladies, and I remember fun times on the Jersey shore, the Hamptons, Manhatten, the World's Fair, you name it. I remember coming home from bar crawls with Frank at 3 or 4 in the morning, only to have him arrive at my house 5 or 6 hours later, his horn blowing as we had to go play softball (In the summer) or touch football in the winter. Without doubt, a weekend with Frank could only be compared to a train wreck. However we did do some intellectual things, like ride around in my father's car shooting at people with our water pistols. On one of these occasions, Frank made me stop my car so that he could fill up his water pistol. He opened the door so rapidly, that the car behind me hit the door, ripped it off sending it flying about 30 feet. I had to explain that to my Father who started to weep. On another occasion, Frank and I had nothing to do on a particular Friday night at about 10 or 11pm, so we decided to visit a mutual friend called Eric (from the Academy) who was still asleep at home. We got him up, carried him out of his house, put him into a a shopping cart, and pushed it into traffic on Ocean ave. You should have heard Eric when he woke up screaming. What fun!! In fairness to the neighborhood, and Eric's mother we never did that again. As you might expect, I could tell you more of these adventures, but suffice it to say, I could never have had a better best friend, a man who enjoyed life, and a man who had a great heart. I am so happy that he met the love of his life in Theresa, that they had great children and grand children to cherish, and who cherished him. Good bye my friend.

Frank was my big brother. He always had my back. I had the first hula hoop on our block courtesy of my big brother. One Easter he bought me 6 chicks. Our mother wouldn’t let us keep them so Frank had to take them back. Here was this big 6’3” young man crying over the chicks. When I was first married, Frank spent so much time with us that friends but a bed for him in our room. He loved his wife and children and grandchildren to the moon and back. When I got sick 3 months ago he cried like a baby and now he is gone. He was always happy to see you and loved feeding everyone. He is irrrplaceable, the last member of my childhood immediate family. I will miss him every day. Thank you Teresa for being the love of his life, Jill and Chris for making him proud, Ben, max and Kennedy for making these last 10 years so happy.
