HELEN MUENCH 1914-2019
It is with deep sorrow that our family is announcing the passing of Helen Muench (nee Kerekes) (Arthur - deceased) Born in The Bronx, NY in 1914 to Mary Kerekes (nee Malatin) and Bertalend Kerekes.Helen has been an inspiration to us all for almost 105 years. She is survived by three daughters and six grandchildren: Eileen Hoey (James), parents of Kim Garison (Bob) and Jennifer Sokolowski (Jeff), Marilyn Ladzinski (Anthony - deceased), parent of Lorin Miller (Scott), and Kristen Coyne (Michael), Debra Conte (Robert), parents of Erica (Mihir Parikh - fiance) and Christopher. Helen also had the love and affection of eight great-grandchildren: Rachel, Andrew, Samuel, Rebecca, Joshua, Dean, Sarah and Sabrina. Her strong Catholic faith and benevolence was an encouragement to us all as she supported numerous charities throughout her life. Gardening was Helen's passion and she planted a magnificent garden in the yard of the family home in Jersey City which was an example of her sense of perfection. She had amazing stamina to keep going and common sense advice which we all carry with us. It is with deep gratitude that her family has known and loved this gentle, kind soul who will live forever in our hearts.
