In Loving Memory of Robert William Rich, Sr. “Antique Car Enthusiast”
Robert William Rich, Sr., of Basking Ridge, NJ and known to friends as "Bob" passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 82 years.
Bob was born on January 19, 1937 and raised in Bernardsville, NJ. He graduated from Bernards High School in 1955, and partnered in Tri-Corner Auto Body business in Liberty Corner, NJ for many years. Bob then continued on with his Tri-Corner Classic Cars business.
He had a passion for antique cars and was in the Antique Automobile Club of America and Horseless Carriage club where he frequented Hershey, PA car shows. Bob also loved animals, and especially, America’s sweetheart dog, the golden retriever. He honorably served in the Morristown National Guard Armory. Bob was known for his energetic wit, social dancing, and outgoing spirit….and an on-going love of Hershey’s chocolate. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed motorcycling too.
Bob is survived by his lovely dedicated wife, Janet and his children, Bobby (Lisa), Anne MacMorris (Dave), Walter (Susan), Richard, Katherine Burnett, step children Jeff Kramlick, Nicole Kramlick, Matt Kramlick (Amy), grandchildren-Tanner, Lydia, Lauryn, Austin, Zachary, Wyatt, Jenna, Adam, Kendall, Luke, Gillian, Courtney and sweetheart dog “Mollie”.
