Dearest Shu and family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear about Katherine. She was such a constant force with a constant smile and a deep intellectual spirit. Katherine started me down my career path at NIST and I will forever be grateful to her for that. How sad that she has left us already. She leaves an empty space in the universe!

Kathryn’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Sad that Kathryn has left us too young. I was glad to be part of the SAS community and benefit from her contributions.cyPrQ
