James’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

To The Entire Leonard Family,
My deepest condolences for your loss of a wonderful person who was so full of life. I was blessed to have met Jim while in college both as a college soccer teammate for 3 years and a roommate for 2 years. Jim and I formed a close bond that lasted throughout our lives getting together no less than once a year (despite our geographical locations) to discuss family, business and the friendship we truly valued and shared for each other.
May God bless the entire Leonard Family - I will continue to pray for you!!!!!

In our house he was known as "Big Jim". We last spent time with him at Nola Hansen's house enjoying music and catching up. He always had a smile and a firm hand shake. He will be missed, and remembered fondly.

I remember Baby sitting James,Pat,Robert and Mary in Bayside, Queens. James was always a handful ,Way too much energy .Then the Lobster Dinners in Cohasset, The vacation Jim and Pat and I took to Lake Winnipesaukee and Bar Harbor Maine when they were teenagers. The fantastic Wedding and his beautiful Bride,Liz.All the Leonards and O'Donnell's getting together to celebrate the Newlyweds..Working on his first home in Duxbury, Mass. followed by a Bar Ba Cue and a call to the Fire Department for a leaking propane tank. The great party he threw for his Fathers Birthday with that funny hat.The pool parties in Far Hills where all the kids had a great time meeting their cousins .Everyone wanted to be invited and they were.
James had a big heart and a big smile every time we got together.
Rest in peace,You are missed.

I remember the great times I had with my cousin James when he and the rest of my cousins would come out to Southampton in the summertime. We would go to the beach all day and then have a great family dinner together where his mother would make the most delicious meals. As we got older we would get together at his house in the summer and the kids would have a great time in the pool and James would be standing over the grill making us a most wonderful dinner. His kind heart and warm personality will be missed. I will miss him.
