We are so sorry to hear about "Our Pal Al", from the Hardware Store.
Those that have worked with him, know his knowledge, experience and the mischief he would create! He was always young at heart, he had fun! Because he created the fun.
He taught us a lot about life and laughter and respect .He spoke of the war, sleigh riding in Bernardsville off the mountain and the good old days.
Al has always made our days better and the customers too! He was the coolest. We are all blessed to have known Al....What a great human being!
With Love,
Your Hardware Family

Al was a warm, friendly neighbor who always put a smile on both his and your face. He never failed to inquire how things were going in our world, and didn't let you worry about his. We admired his gentle spirit and constant industriousness.
Also to be noted- when our eldest children were very young Al&Marie freely welcomed them (and us!) into their home "no questions asked", whenever possible, and conferred as many treats, games and fun conversation as time permitted. We will always remember their love and generosity.
We wish Elaine and all of Al's nieces and nephews- and all who knew him- peace and fond reflections.
