Obituary of Madelyn Comerford

FLEMINGTON - Madelyn P. (Waldron) Comerford died Thursday 26 Jan. 2012 at home in Flemington. Born in West Orange, she lived in West Caldwell and in Basking Ridge for 41 years before moving to Flemington 10 years ago. Mrs. Comerford was known to her friends and family as "Mary Lou". She worked at Monroe Calculating Company before raising a family. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Thomas, her son Michael, and her brother James (Jit) Waldron. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law; Tim and Debbie of Lake Hopatcong, Barry and Mary of Hopatcong, Terry and Dionne of Hopatcong, Robert and Janet of Holland Township and James and Dawn of Berkeley Heights; and nine grandchildren Matthew, Mary Beth, William, Brian, Kristin, Kelly, Katelyn, Sarah and Patrick. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday 30 Jan at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 9 Church Street in Bernardsville. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday 31 Jan at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge, followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover.
