The de Leon Family posted a condolence
We didn't get to know John very well but we became family with Paul, his son, and enjoyed the Rospond family's company on several ocassions.
As parents we come to life in our children. Paul, Richard and Mary Chris are the wonderful gifts that John and Jeanette have sculpted and shared with each of us.
What wonderful gifts indeed.
With our brother Paul we have shared tears of laughter and at times of sorrow - all part of our process of living and growing.
We know that John lives, not only in God's presence but through his loving family. May they continue to feel and be blessed with his love and know that their father and husband now enjoys the the freedom and joy that only God's presence can give.
Remember, it is in weakness that we find our strength! (2Cor12:10).
We love you guys,
Armando, Tracy, Cassie and Gabi de Leon

All the best memories of a wonderful, kind, and loving man - my Godfather and my father's good friend. His and my Dad's lives had so many parallels; same grammar school, submarine service, more than 60 years of marriage, Western Electric, volunteers for many organizations...now they have both passed away after a long fruitful life at the same age - 89 and both had their funeral services during a major blizzard! I am so sorry to not be able to be there today as I am snowed in down here - but my thoughts and prayers are with you all with much love.
