Obituary of Hans Steinhardt

Hans Steinhardt, 83, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away April 3rd, 2011. He was born in Berlin, Germany and came to the US in 1957. He settled in Ohio before coming to New Jersey in 1958 Hans was an avid sports fan, as he was a semi-pro soccer player and also enjoyed playing tennis. He enjoyed playing his accordion at the Adult Care Center in Basking Ridge. Hans is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Irene, his son Christopher and his wife Maria of Berwyn, PA, and daughter Annette Steinhardt, of Bernardsville, NJ. He is also survived by two grandchildren Emily and Richard, and a brother Ernst Steinhardt of Germany. A liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on April 6th 2011 at 9 AM at the Church of St. James.
