We'll always remember as a young couple when we first moved into our house and Bill brought us vegetables from his garden. That began many years of exchanging vegetables, plants, organic gardening tips and many conversations about politics and baseball. Bill would open up black walnuts from his tree to save me from getting my hands black and I in exchange would bake him my black walnut cake. All the animals had a friend in Bill. Rabbits, chipmunks, stray cats could be seen sitting with Bill. Even my cat who was afraid of everyone would sit with him and enjoy some scraps of chicken during summer nights at his camp fire. Always a bit eccentric but he gave the neighborhood character and we will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace, Love, Debbie, Mark, Krystie and Matt
