Obituary of Antonio Padovan

Antonio Padovan, born the 27th of July 1933 in San Giacomo, Italy passed away into the light on the 24th of March 2011 at 1:30pm EST. Antonio was one of the last of the Old World masons who built beautiful brick, stucco and stone homes and structures throughout the New Jersey metro area. His business, Biasia Inc. was incorporated as a family construction business since the mid 1960's and is currently run by eldest son, Alessandro Padovan out of Wantage, NJ. Antonio leaves behind a legacy of family members - in the U.S., his wife Agnes Bordignon Padovan; his children, Alessandro, daughter-in-law Trika, Christine, Sarah Cristarella, son-in-law Robert Cristarella and George. All other relatives reside in or around the province of Vicenza, Italy. Known for his wit, his generosity, his passion and his enormous charisma, Antonio will be dearly missed by his family, his friends and many grateful customers. Antonio lived his life exactly the way he wanted to live it. God bless his amazing soul. Viewing is at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday March 28th. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 11 AM at Our Lady Chapel Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery, 45 Mt. Airy Road, Bernardsville, NJ.
