Obituary of Christopher J Graham

Christopher Graham, 46, of Wharton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Chris touched many lives. Through his many challenges, he brought joy and laughter to family, friends and caregivers. As a devoted fan of the New York Giants and Yankees, Chris had a collection of Giants and Yankees tee shirts and was proud to wear a different player's number every day. He loved participating in Special Olympics softball and basketball. Chris had a passion for music, movies and silly jokes. Chris showed us all how to live life fully and have courage in the face of difficulty. Chris is survived by his father, John Graham, and his wife, Elva Ferrari-Graham. He is also survived by two brothers and four nieces and nephews. Thomas and his wife, Teresa, live in Brooklyn, NY, with their children, Esme and Matthew. Michael and his wife, Suzanne, live in Madison with their son, Adam. Their daughter, Alison, lives in Los Angeles. He was predeceased by his mother, Irene Graham, of Basking Ridge. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:30 am at the St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 34 Peapack Road, Far Hills, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris' name to the Center for Humanistic Change of New Jersey, 12 US Highway 206 Stanhope, NJ 07874 or www.chcnj.org.
