Obituary of Patricia Ann Ford

Morristown, NJ – Patricia Ann Ford, a long-time resident of Short Hills and Morristown, died Friday the 26th of May at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was 82. She is survived by her devoted children, Tom (Kathy) Joe (Shannon), Karen (Pedro), Kevin and Mark (Reid) and two beautiful grandchildren (Jordan and Taylor), as well as her sister Kay O'Brien. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Gertrude Kelaher and her loving husband Thomas P. Ford, Jr. She was born in 1935 in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated from St. Elizabeth's College in Convent Station. She married attorney Thomas P Ford in 1958. And they raised five children together. Pat had a flair for design and fashion. She loved playing tennis and taking long walks on the boardwalk in Spring Lake. She was a life-long spiritual seeker and an avid reader and in her final years, she found great comfort in her Catholic faith. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Wednesday May 31 from 4-7pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered at 10am Thursday June 1 at St. James RC Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge.
