Alfredo “Fred” Bondoc

Alfredo “Fred” Bondoc passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family he built. He was 84 years old.

Born in the Philippines, Fred came to the United States in the 1960s. It was here that he met the love of his life, Maria Leticia, and together they built a family and a life full of hard work, resilience, and love.

He spent over 36 years at GAF Corporation before going on to become an entrepreneur in his own right, first as a healthcare business owner and later as the owner of a preschool — a fitting turn for a man who cared so deeply about nurturing others.

Outside of work, Fred had a passion for high performance cars and could always be found talking about his latest favorite. He was also a gifted cook, and time spent in his kitchen was one of the many ways he showed his love for the people around him.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maria Leticia; his children, Pablo and Maria Cristina; and his grandchildren, Mia and Connor, who knew him and loved him as Lolo.

We will miss you, Lolo.
